Frequently asked
questions
Answers to the questions people most often ask about our support, referrals and funding.
About our support
What is supported living?
Supported living means living in your own home with your own tenancy, and receiving support that is planned around you. It gives people more choice, control and independence than residential care.
Who do you support?
We support adults (18+) who are autistic, have a learning disability and/or have mental health needs. Many people we support have a combination of needs.
Can support change over time?
Yes. Support plans are reviewed regularly and change as people grow in confidence, learn new skills or their needs change.
Referrals & funding
How do I make a referral?
Use the referral form on our contact page, call or email us. Referrals are welcome from individuals, families and professionals.
How is support paid for?
Support is usually funded by the local authority, NHS Continuing Healthcare, or through a personal budget or direct payments. We are happy to explain the options.
Families & visitors
Can families stay involved?
Absolutely. With the person’s agreement, we work closely with families and keep them updated. Family relationships are an important part of a good life.
How do I raise a concern or make a complaint?
Please contact us by phone or email. Every concern is taken seriously and handled in line with our complaints policy, available on our Policies page.
